Lexi is back with LR at no fault of her own. Special circumstances have come up for her family. She has been well cared for and loved. What her former family told us about her is as follows.
Commands she knows: sit, stay, down, all the way down (she will lay on her side and put her head down), roll over, come, shake/high five, leave it, paws (used for placing her paws on something but not jump up on it), gentle, find it (find a toy or a person), out of the kitchen when asked (she will stay out of the cooking area).
Lexi is trusted when left alone. She does not jump on furniture, counter surf or beg for food and chew on things that are not hers. She is an alert barker. She will alert you to door when someone knocks or rings the bell.
Lexi does not like loud noise like thunder or fireworks. She will go hide and start stress panting. She doesn’t like the dryer at the groomers.
We are requiring a training deposit for Lexi. Her leash skills need a refresher. She can also be anxious in new situations and jump up on her owners.
Lexi has a super soft coat that feels like silk when you pet her. She is being fostered with senior male Lab and is doing good. She settling into her Foster home.
