Foster Update: Tahoe is an extremely good natured dog. He gets on fine with the other three male dogs in his foster home. He tends to be a bit of a loner and enjoys exploring the garden on his own. He loves the pool and jumped into the water straight away. Tahoe does not have any food aggression, in fact he doesn't have a big appetite but loves treats. He likes to sit under his foster dad's desk. His energy level is pretty typical for an 11 year old. He would do great with a less active family, with or without other family pets.
Intro: Tahoe was originally with Lab Rescuers as a new born puppy. His momma was found as a stray on the streets heavily pregnant and taken to the local shelter where Lab Rescuers picked her up and put her in a loving foster home and she delivered her litter including sweet little Jasper now known as Tahoe. Momma was a purebred chocolate lab, we are not sure who the daddy was.
Sadly Tahoe's family are moving out of state and could not take him with them, so they did the right thing and contacted Lab Rescuers to help. Tahoe passed the evaluation at a local dog park with flying colors, he seems to get along great with all other dogs, he is a really, really nice sweet boy, with a loving disposition. He is very good health and acts and seems much younger than 11 years of age. He love swimming and walks and is great in the car. He grew up with children and does great with them. We are not sure how he is with cats as he has not met any yet.
