Update 07/10/21: Ace is finally ready for his forever home. He would love a home with a dog buddy as he loves other dogs, whether it is playing with the younger dogs in his foster home or curing up on a dog bed with the senior dog.
Update 06/05/21: Ace had his final post op re-check today and the surgeon reports that his leg looks great! He has been released to a gradual return to normal activity over the next month.
Update 03/30/21: Ace is a super pup! He's got a little fetish for shoes and slippers and likes to tackle your feet as you walk by. He's always happy and wagging his tail and loves to be around people. He gets along great with his four foster sisters. He is housebroken and sleeps through the night. He crates well. He's a little timid and shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly. He hasn't shown any food aggression or resource guarding. He's too small to counter surf but he has table surfed. He's well behaved on leash and loves the outdoors. Ace's surgery is scheduled for 04/05/21 so stay tuned for post surgery updates.
Intro: Meet Ace, he was taken to the shelter as a stray, sadly he was hit by a car and ran into a local body shop, the good people there called Animal Control to help. Ace is submissive and great around other dogs. Ace has gone into a wonderful foster home, where he is learning to relax and live the good life. We are working with a surgeon to determine whether Ace will require surgery as a result of his injuries. Stay tuned for updates.
