Foster Update: Yogi is a sweet girl with a very soft coat. She really is beautiful! She does not show any signs of aggressive behavior and rarely jumps up, so I believe she'd be great with kids big and small. She had a few minor squabbles when introduced to her forter sister, but now they are best buds and are together constantly. Yogi has a medium energy level, so having a dog buddy and human siblings keeps her entertained. However, she'd also be ok as an only dog that's doted on and given proper attention and exercise. Yogi has been introduced to other dogs and depending on the dog, either takes on a more assertive or submissive role.
I think she'd be easy easily trainable because she is eager to please. She does not seem to be a fan of car rides. She's strong on the leash and needs practice. She met a few cats and seems ok with them as they don't run away from her. She didn't show any signs of anxiety when left alone in a crate for a short-time. She is completely potty trained. She sleeps through the night in a crate without making a peep, although in her forever home, I believe she'd prefer to sleep in a dog bed in your room or on a human bed. She loves head rubs and love, and she seeks attention from her people. She's an amazing girl!
Intro: Yogi came from a loving home. Her family did not have the time for her and wanted so much more for her. They have entrusted us to find her an active and loving family for her. Yo Yo as they call her, was born on 9/13/19. She is potty trained. She will whine at the door to let you know she has to go out. She knows sit, paw and come. She likes water, fetch and loves walks. Her favorite toy is the rope toy. She can be strong on leash when she sees another dog. She likes meeting people and dogs. Yo Yo is a social girl. She will follow you around. She loves kids.
We met her at a dog park. She met several dogs today of all sizes. She was well behaved with all of them. She played fetch at the park. She shared the ball like a good girl. She offered play bows to a dog on the other side of the fence. Yup, Social girl. She was polite and kind to the humans she met also. She leaned in for love. She did not jump up on anyone. She will play chase and play wrestle if the dog will allow it. She also shared a water bowl and some good smells with her new friends. She went nose to nose without any concerns. She has the cutest half moon on her chest.
