Foster Update: Carson is such a sweet, good boy, he is smart and a quick learner. He is house trained, gets along great with my dogs, is good on the leash and doesn't jump on furniture or counter surf. He is not destructive, sleeps through the night and is very polite. He waits by the door even if it is open until you tell him to come in. He is submissive and likes to follow my dogs around. He is young and likes to run and play. He likes the dog park but does not like other unneutered male dogs, perhaps this will change once he is neutered. Carson would do best with a playful dog in his new home his new home and humans who are home more then not.
Carson was a stray in Mexico who was posted on social media looking for help. He was taken to vet for an exam and moved into foster care in Ensenada while awaiting rescue. While in foster care he was mellow and friendly and avoided conflict from the more dominant dogs. During his evaluation he was mellow and reserved. When meeting other dogs he puts his head down and stays calm. He takes treats very gentle. Easy on leash. He let me touch him all over. He rides great in the car. He appears to be crate trained. When I was hugging him and scratching his chest, he pushed his head in my chest and soaked it up. He even licked my arm very gently. He will be very loyal and affectionate. He will enjoy a nice walk. He does come to you when you call him and likes pets. He is gentle and very sweet. Please check back with us and look for updates as we learn more about him.
