Chanel is a pocket-size Lab-mix who is a sweet, loving, and playful. She really enjoys the company of her people and likes to have doggie friends. Chanel has learned to make eye contact, takes treats gently, and is improving on sit and stay. Her puppy behaviors include jumping up when excited and trying to get treats off the counter; she can be redirected to her toys when she feels like chewing. Chanel is easy to walk on leash and is happy to meet other dogs.
The Designer family consists of three males and a 6-month-old female, Chanel. These four dogs were dumped on an embankment where they stayed together for a couple of days until a rescuer spotted them in MX. The rescuer saw Chanel first who lead them back to the other three. They were all scooped up and brought to safety. We have seen several videos of them playing with other dogs. They like people and seek affection. They are nervous at first but warm up quickly. The rescuer who has them also reported they shared food and bedding without any issues.
When meeting them, they were happy and tails wagging. They all took treats very gently. They road nice in the car. They felt safe in the crate and took a long nap on the way to the Vets office. The leash was new to them and this was a big day. They will need time and patience to feel safe to go on walks. Please check back and look for updates as we learn more about them.
