In addition to the adoption fee of $500, I will require a training deposit of $150 which is fully refundable upon completion of a training course. Meet Mily (Pronounced "My-Lee") who was entrusted to LR by her loving family who realized that dealing with such a young active puppy was too much for them, with small children in the home.
One of Mily's front legs required a major surgery to repair a Congenital Radial Head Subluxation at about 5 months. Sadly, the correction didn't heal properly, and in order to give her the best quality of life and to be able to live pain free, the difficult decision was made to amputate her front left leg,
At just 8 months old, Mily has been receiving ongoing training and socialization exercises. She is very smart, and she picks up on things very quickly - wanting to please her people. She is a sweet and loving dog with a great personality, and has settled in quickly and easily in her current foster's home. She is fully house trained, and willingly sleeps either in her kennel or on her dog bed at night.
Mily will do well with ongoing training and socialization exercises. She is great around other dogs, and loves to play and be active outdoors - especially her time at the beach running in and out of the water. She's building her strength and endurance on her front leg, and her walks are getting progressively longer and at a more rapid pace. She can be submissive when meeting others for the first time, but warms up very quickly and soon becomes your new best friend!
