In addition to the adoption fee of $350, I will require a training deposit of $150 which is fully refundable upon completion of a training course.
Mia and her daughter Della came from a home in the High Desert,
their owner was moving into an apartment and was desperate to find a home for her two dogs. Mia lived with three kids, age 2, 5, and 13 and was reportedly very good with them. The dogs rode well in my van, they crated well and enjoyed their cheeseburgers from McD's. They are sweet dogs, allowed me to pick them up, even though they were somewhat confused about where life was taking them!
Mia is around 5-6 years old and a very sweet girl, she rides great in the car.
Foster Update 10/17/2020 - Mia is very affectionate and bonds with people quickly. Mia is great with other dogs both on-leash and off-leash. Mia loves going out for walks and can't stop wagging her tail. Mia walks great on a leash (she will probably tug for the first 5 minutes out of excitement and then calms down). She takes treats very gently and is pretty mellow at home. She is housebroken and there have been no accidents. She is trustworthy and can be left alone at home. Mia likes to be with her humans and loves massages. Mia will do well in a home with a mellow or more settled dog. She has not exhibited any prey drive, she does watch lizards and rabbits with interest, but has not tried to chase them. Mia is a very smart dog and is treat motivated which makes training her very easy. She knows "Sit, Down, Stay and Shake Hand."
